Board of Directors

The Ester Volunteer Fire Department Board is tasked with the overall supervision and direction of the Ester Volunteer Fire Department – the Chief, staff, equipment and property. The Board is composed of seven members who are elected to 2 year, volunteer positions at EVFD’s annual meeting in October. There are four officers: the president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. The board meets once a month, usually on the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:00 PM, at the Fire Station on the Old Nenana Highway. Due to COVID restrictions, the Board is meeting remotely via Zoom. The public, and especially the Ester Fire District populace (our “members”) are welcome to attend.
