The Ester Volunteer Fire Department Board is tasked with the overall supervision and direction of the Ester Volunteer Fire Department – the Chief, staff, equipment and property. The Board is composed of seven members who are elected to 2 year, volunteer positions at EVFD’s annual meeting in October. There are four officers: the president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. The board meets once a month, usually on the 2nd Monday of every other month at 6:00 PM, at the Fire Station on the Old Nenana Highway.
The public, and especially the Ester Fire District populace (our “members”) are welcome to attend.
